Chicken Roast | Roasted Chicken || How to Make Roasted Chicken with step-by-step photos
Chicken Roast is a tender, juicy, flavored spiced whole chicken meat is
baked in the oven or charcoal grill by applying lime juice with spiced yogurt for the entire chicken
Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside
with golden skin that’s spicy with just a subtle perfume of lemon to remind you
it’s there without overwhelming.
It creates its own pan juices that are used as the
sauce for the chicken. This stuff is liquid gold. Chicken Roast is prepared as food by
roasting whether in a home kitchen, over a fire, or with a rotisserie (rotary
spit). Generally, the chicken is roasted with its own fat and juices by
circulating the meat during roasting,
And therefore, are usually cooked and exposed to fire or heat with some type of rotary grill so that the circulation of these fats and juices is as efficient as possible. Roast chicken is a dish that appears in a wide variety of cuisines worldwide.
However, I made this roasted chicken with just a few basic ingredients, no butter no ghee no herbs no additional ingredients added
First I prepared spiced yogurt by adding some
basic and regular powdered spices, and I marinated the whole chicken with ginger
garlic paste, lemon juice, oil, and prepared spiced yogurt then left the
chicken in the fridge overnight, and then the next day I baked it in the oven
This delicious and mouthwatering chicken roasted
goes well with boiled eggs, puri paratha alongside green raita chutney, onion slices with lemon wedges
Certainly, the most Mouthwatering and delicious chicken
roast you had ever! Super easy and simple to it you’ll have to try it once at home

How to roast a whole chicken:
- Oven-baked chicken breast is great for an everyday meal, but a whole-baked chicken is a nourishing and comfort-food classic that you just can’t ignore.
- Before putting the chicken in the oven
- Mix oil with the remaining masala, and apply all over the chicken
- This act will keep the chicken moist and juicy and prevent dried chicken
- Place chicken on a middle rack
- Set over a shallow roasting pan
- First, bake it on one side for around 25-30 minutes
- Then flip the chicken and cook the other side as before
- Roast the chicken until you get a nice golden brown color on the chicken

To make this recipe firstly make deep slits on both sides of the chicken to absorb spices till the bottom
Fill the deep large-sized bowl with water along with an additional 1 tbsp salt with 2 tbsp white vinegar, Stir the water very well with the fingers
Put the whole chicken into the water it around 30 minutes the water
In the meantime prepare the spiced yogurt, First, squeeze the yogurt by keeping it in the muslin cloth
Take another mixing bowl
Combine all ingredients yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, crushed red chili flakes, turmeric powder, crushed coriander powder,garam masala, chaat masala, salt, and cumin powder
Stir to mix well with the help of a spoon-
Thoroughly dry the chicken with paper towels_Squeeze the fresh lemon juice all over the chicken
And rub inside and outside the chicken beside slits with the help of fingers
Then place the whole chicken over masala_And start rubbing masala thoroughly both on the chicken sides
Then add oil and continuously rub masala over the chicken. Keep in the fridge for at least 6-8 hours or maximum marination overnight
Take out the chicken from the fridge, Rub the chicken again with the masala for a minute
Prepare the oven grill and turn on the oven at 450 F
At this stage, you can give smoke of charcoal to the chicken before putting the chicken on the oven grill
Mix oil with the remaining masala
Brush the chicken with masala, No requirement to tie the legs of the chicken
Put the chicken in the middle rack of the oven_
Remove from the oven and apply some butter on top it's optional
Transfer to the serving dish_
Serve hot with puri paratha
and raita chutney

- 1.5 kg, whole chicken skinless
- 250g, homemade yogurt
- 2 large-sized, lemons freshly squeezed
- 1 tbsp, ginger garlic paste
- ½ cup, of oil
- 1 tbsp, Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 tbsp, red chili powder
- 1 tsp, red chili flakes
- 1 ½ tsp, salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp, crushed coriander powder
- ½ tsp, turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp, citric acid
- 1 tsp,garam masala
- 1 ½ tsp, cumin powder
- 1 tsp, chaat masala
- Boiled eggs
- Lemon wedges
- Mint leaves
- Onion slices
How to make Roast Chicken?
- To make this recipe firstly make deep slits on both sides of the chicken to absorb spices till the bottom

- Put the whole chicken into the water
- Leave it for around 30 minutes in the water
- This step removes the odor from the chicken meat besides makes the meat tender and succulent
- In the meantime prepare the spiced yogurt
- Firstly squeeze the yogurt by keeping it in the muslin cloth
- Take another mixing bowl and combine all the ingredients yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, crushed red chili flakes, turmeric powder, crushed coriander powder,garam masala, chaat masala, salt, and cumin powder
- Stir to mix well with the help of a spoon
- Now spiced yogurt is ready
- Thoroughly dry the chicken with paper towels.

- And start rubbing masala thoroughly both on the chicken sides
- Then add oil and keep rubbing the masala over the chicken
- Make sure masala has been applied very well
- Keep in the fridge for at least 6-8 hours or maximum marination overnight
- Take out the chicken from the fridge
- Prepare
the oven grill and turn on the oven at 450 F
- Rub the chicken again with the masala for a minute
- At this stage, you can give smoke of charcoal to the chicken before putting the chicken on the oven grill
- Mix oil with the remaining masala and brush the chicken with masala
- No required tie of the legs of the chicken
- Put the chicken in the middle rack of the oven
- Bake uncovered each side of chicken for 30 minutes at 450 F 250 C
- Continue to cook chicken until a nice golden brown color appears on top
- Remove from the oven and apply some butter on top it's optional
- Transfer to the serving dish
- Garnish the chicken with lemon wedges, mint, onion rings, and boiled egg slices
- Serve hot with puri paratha and raita chutney
