Chocolate pound cake is soft, moist, and buttery with a rich chocolate flavor. melt in your mouth and delicious. this is the best homemade recipe for chocolate lovers.

This cake doesn’t need any frosting at all. even then you can do shiny chocolate glaze over the top. but I love to have it plain with a hot cup of tea or coffee.

This is one of my favorite chocolate cake slices.it is made with cocoa powder, dark chocolate, butter, milk, and coffee granules to give it the richest chocolate flavor. every bite is chocolatey dream come true!

How to Store Homemade Pound Cake?

Store leftover pound cake in an airtight container or resealable bag at room temperature. It will stay fresh for about three days. If you want to store it for longer, transfer it to the fridge after day 3 and enjoy it within a week.

Tips for the best chocolate pound cake:    

  1. Don’t omit the coffee, it plays an important role in this recipe
  2. Let the chocolate mixture cool down completely first then use.don’t use warm chocolate mixture it will turn your cake hard
  3. I used dark cooking chocolate in this recipe other than cocoa powder.it will enhance the chocolaty flavor
  4. Using more eggs makes your cake super soft but most people avoid using/having eggs. so you can use condensed milk instead of eggs
  5. I used also dry fruits to make a more delicious cake in which had added almonds, walnuts, and pistachio. you can skip this as well
  6. Believe it or not, this pound cake tastes even better the day after you make it. Save a few servings and see for yourself!
  7. Make your pound cake even more heavenly by topping it with my Pourable Chocolate Ganache!

Melt the crushed chocolate, and butter in the milk on a low-medium flame.

Once the chocolate mixture is done let it cool down completely.set aside

Sift the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in the bowl

Stir to combine well

Mix dry flour is ready. Preheat the oven to 180 C or 350 F

Grease the baking pan and line the butter paper

Dissolve the instant coffee with 2 tbsp hot water. when dissolved, stir in the chocolate mixture

In a mixing bowl crack the eggs one by one and whisk for a minute. Next, add sugar and then whisk with the electric mixer on high speed

Until light and fluffy

Start adding mixed flour little by little and fold. Scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary

After cooling down, the chocolate mixture adds chocolate essence and half chopped almonds, pistachio, and walnuts. Stir to mix well. Add 4-5 tbsp prepared cake batter with the chocolate mixture

Stir to combine very well. Now add back chocolate mixture into the remaining cake batter

Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle some crushed dry fruits. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a  toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Chocolate pound cake is baked. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. And then loosen the cake from the sides of the pan using a butter knife

Invert the cake onto a wire rack or any flat pan to cool completely

I often made at any special occasion when I wanna serve any special thing to my family or friends. this recipe has main ingredients are brownie cake and vanilla ice cream. people made it with many types in which added vanilla beans paste, and peanut butter but I don't like those things that are why I skipped if you like you can add in the preparation of brownie so let's begin

Transfer the ice cream to a large bowl, reserving the container. Place in the freezer for 2 hours, preheat oven to 180°C.

Brush a square 24 cm (base measurement) cake pan with melted butter to grease. Line the base and sides with non-stick baking paper.

Place the butter, chocolate, and sugar in a medium saucepan over low heat. and cook.

Stirring with a metal spoon, for 5 minutes or until chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. Transfer to a bowl

Sift the combined flour and cocoa powder over the chocolate mixture. Add the egg, walnut extra chocolate, and vanilla essence and stir to combine

Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for 50 minutes

Or until crumbs cling to a skewer inserted into the center, Set aside in the pan to cool slightly

Drizzle some chocolate syrup on top with a scoop of ice cream to serve.

Here I baked a simple basic fruit bun by stuffing raisins and tutty fruity, easy to make but you can variations in making buns as desired I always have the sweet fruit bun with hot Shireen tea, you can find out this recipe on my blog so let’s begin

To make Perfect Buns:
  1. To prepare this recipe first rule we are to apply is to Take all out ingredients that are going to use in making buns
  2. Let them leave at room temperature such as butter, milk powder, all-purpose flour, yeast  
  3. To make a spongy and soft bun add milk powder and egg
  4. Yeast and baking powder combination makes light loaf/buns
  5. I used olive oil but you can use butter for making more delicious buns

SWEET BUNS



In the lukewarm water add sugar and yeast dissolve them very well keep aside

In a small bowl put egg yolks with milk and whisk them well

Now take a large-sized mixing bowl and sift the flour along with baking powder, salt, and food color

Stir to mix them, keep aside until required

In the flour, bowl adds milk powder and egg, Mix them together very well with the help of a spatula. Now pour dissolved water into the flour

Start kneading to a soft dough approx 5-8 minutes then meanwhile pour oil. Keep kneading till dough is formed

Apply the oil all over the dough and transfer to another bowl cover the dough with a plastic cling or kitchen towel and leave it to rise for around 2-3 hours in a warm place
This dough will look sticky but don’t worry it will be set after proofing

After 2-3 hours take out the dough bowl and transfer it to the working place. And knead it again with some flour if it is looking still sticky otherwise just punch it down around 2-3 minutes

Now cut the dough in half

And divide the dough into equal portions and give it to the ball shapes

Take one ball at one time and flatten them between your palms. Place some raisins and tutti frutti in the center of the flattened dough ball. Seal the edges from all four sides like stuffed paratha balls

And give it to round bun shapes

In the second method, you can place dry fruits and tutti frutti in the center of flattened balls. And roll it and give it to bun shape. Now it is depending on your choice which one method you do or easy for you

Repeat the same process with all remaining dough balls and place them on a baking tray Cover them with a kitchen towel and leave it to further rise for 15 minutes

Meantime switch on the oven and preheat it to 250 C for 30 minutes, buns have become risen

Put in the preheated oven at 200C for 20-25 minutes

Once buns become nicely golden brown in color take them out from the oven. Apply some melted butter on baked buns

And transfer to the wire rack then cover them with the kitchen towel, This thing makes your bun super soft and more tasteful
