Chicken Sandwich | Grilled Sandwich || How to make a chicken sandwich with step-by-step photos
The chicken sandwich is a simple, delightful, and tasty evening snack that is made up of bread slices along with chicken mixture_this snack can be served at forthcoming iftar or even at Sehari_this snack can be made within 20 minutes if you have all the ingredients ready and it will take just 20 minutes,
The simplest way is to make this on a griddle/Tawa but you also, grill it in a grill pan or a sandwich griller or toaster. whatever you have, This chicken sandwich is easy to make as well and you can store it for 2-3 days easily by keeping it in the refrigerator
I used chicken mixture with white cheese sauce in this recipe_but you can variations it by adding any type of veggie of your choice like boiled peas, spring onion, grated cabbage or carrot, and capsicum-this stuffing can be used in making several other recipes such as samosa, pasta, noodles, rolls even with bread rolls

Peel and cut the onion into thin slices
Rinse the chicken mince in the running water
To make white sauce in the saucepan melt the butter then put the flour into the butter_Roast it on medium-low flame
Until turns to light brown_Keep mixing by pouring milk and mixed herbs until everything is well combined_Towards the end put cheddar cheese
And keep on stirring on low flame until getting smooth paste_Keep aside
Heat the oil in the pan and sauté the onion for 4-5 minutes on medium flame_Put rinsed chicken mince to the onion
And fry them on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes until they change their color, Add ginger-garlic paste, white vinegar, and soya sauce to the mince
Keep on stirring until the water dries up
Then add powder and spices to the mince_Constantly keep mixing for 2-3 minutes on medium flame, Add a little water to the mince and mix further
Cover the lid and let it cook for 5 minutes on medium-low flame till the mixture dries up
While the chicken mince gets cooked, add white sauce_Keep on stirring until everything is incorporated
The chicken mixture is ready to use in the recipes
Heat the grill pan by applying ghee/butter over the pan_Now toast the bread slices one by one from both sides
Toast all the bread and place it on the plate
Take one piece of toasted bread and spread the chicken mixture over the slice with the help of a spoon or butter knife
Then cover the mixture with another toasted bread_Press them down and cut into a triangle shape
Transfer all prepared sandwiches to the serving plate or tray
Consume them within 2 hours of preparing if kept at room temperature

- 250g, chicken mince
- 1 tbsp, ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp, crushed black pepper
- 1 tsp, crushed white pepper
- 1 tsp, crushed red chili pepper
- ½ tsp, chicken powder
- 1 tsp, cumin powder
- 1 tbsp, soya sauce
- 1 tbsp, white vinegar
- 75 ml, of cooking oil
For the White Sauce:
- 50g, butter
- 2 tbsp, plain flour
- ½ cup, of milk
- 50g, cheddar cheese
- ½ tsp, mixed herbs
Other ingredients:
- Bread slices as required
- Butter/ghee for toasting
How to Make a Chicken Grilled Sandwich?

- Note: chicken mince/mixture should be dry
- While the chicken mince gets cooked, add white sauce
- Keep on stirring until everything is incorporated
- The chicken mixture is ready to use in the recipes
- Heat the grill pan by applying ghee/butter over the pan

- Toast all the bread and place it on the plate
