French Bread is a crisp crunch crust and a slightly chewy center to make this bread. this bread actually comes from French cuisine. and all over Europe and America are being sold in many baker shops

Though I haven't any French bread pan that is traditionally baked. but I tried hard to make it fix shapes like French bread or long bread. You can also make cheese garlic bread from this bread loaf

By law in France, bread cannot have added oil or fat. French baguettes, for instance, must be made from water, flour, yeast, and salt, with a very small amount of dough improvement allowed. Italian bread often contains a little bit more milk, olive oil, and sometimes sugar in its contents.

I made French bread in my style by adding a little oil and milk. As per my thought, this type of bread without any fat/oil becomes so dry and chewier. like sookhi roti. and in our atmosphere probably people don’t like this is the reason. I kneaded the dough with milk to bring color to the bread and added some oil to bring some softness to the bread

instructions and tips below the recipe card

Recipe notes:

French bread dough should not be so soft or hard rather it should be elastic dough to make light and fluffy bread
If you keep the dough so soft bread may out of shape during the proofing
Make a slash over the dough using a sharp knife otherwise, it may deflate
Traditionally french bread isn’t used in sugar but I added some sugar to balance the taste of the bread. but you can skip it if you want to make authentic style french bread
I haven't french bread baking pan so I used an ordinary baking pan by keeping a flat wooden around the loaf to prevent shapelessly but If you have then is much better
