Onion mixed salad is a dish consisting of a mixture of small pieces of food, usually vegetables. boiled chickpeas, quick and easy mixed salad  is a traditional Pakistani recipe, are added tomato, red onion, green chilies, and cucumber with salt and chaat masala, this salad is served with lunch or dinner no Pakistani barbecue would be served without mixed salad  

I love adding lemon juice to this recipe to give a bit of sourness. I often made it at dinner, because this has two advantages, one of them is getting nutrients, vitamins, and minerals and second is to enhance the taste of your meal, this is the reason I must keep in our diets, you can add any other type of veggie by choice

Peel and cut onions into thin slices or coarsely chop_Put the onion slices into the colander sprinkle some salt over them_Now mix them well with salt and rinse under the running water set aside


Rinse and cut the tomatoes into small cubes


    Rinse then peel and cut the cucumber into small pieces 


    Freshly squeeze the lemon into the cup set it aside


    Remove the stalks of green chilies and finely chopped keep aside


    Take ¼ piece of cabbage and grate them keep aside


    Rinse and finely chop the coriander set aside




    In a mixing bowl put all spices whisk them together


    Then add chopped veggies, combine them well with lemon mixture


      Now mixed salad is ready to serve with lunch or dinner....

      1. 2, large onions
      2. 1, large cucumber
      3. 3, green chilies
      4. 1, large tomato
      5. 1, lemon freshly squeezed
      6. ¼ cup, cabbage
      7. 1 tsp, black peppercorn freshly crushed
      8. 1 tbsp, coriander leaves
      9. Salt to taste
      10. 1/3 tsp, homemade chaat masala     
      How to make the onion salad?
      1. Take a medium mixing bowl
      2. Add lemon juice, chaat masala, black peppercorn powder, and salt
      3. Whisk them together
      4. Then put chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, cucumber, cabbage, and coriander
      5. Combine all veggies with masala very well
      6. Refrigerate until serving and stir before serving
      7. Onion mixed salad is ready to serve at your lunch or dinner
