Mutton fry masala is an authentic Pakistani recipe that tastes has mildly spiced and succulent meat that melts in your mouth

In this recipe, basic masala is used. this isn’t too spicy nor hot and is just made with very little ghee (clarified butter) which brings out the flavors of spice powders and mutton

This mutton fry can be served as an appetizer or as a side with rice, chapati, and paratha. I have made it into a dry dish. if you like to have a bit more gravy, just take it off the pan a bit early without evaporating the gravy completely

Ingredients:

  1. 750g, mutton boneless
  2. 1 tbsp, ginger garlic paste
  3. 150g, tomato chunks
  4. 1 tsp, red chili powder
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 tbsp, crushed coriander powder
  7. ½ tsp, roasted cumin powder
  8. 100g, homemade yogurt
  9. 1 cup, of hot water
  10. ½ tsp,zafrani garam masala powder
  11. ½ tsp, crushed black pepper
  12. 125g, ghee
  13. 1 large size. lemon juice freshly squeezed

For Garnishing:

  1. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  2. Green chilies for garnishing
  3. Lemon wedges for garnishing

How to make Mutton Fry Masala?

Boil Mutton: Combine all ingredients mutton, tomato, ginger garlic paste, yogurt, salt, red chill powder, roasted cumin powder, crushed coriander powder, and salt into the pressure cooker or pot. Stir to mix very well until everything is incorporated. And pour water. Bring it to a boil and cook until the meat gets tender

Stir Fry Mutton: Keep on stirring by adding the remaining ingredients of black pepper,garam masala, ghee, and fresh lemon juice to the cooked meat. Roast them together until the oil is separated and the water dries out. Or if you want more gravy in it turn off the flame before drying up. Mutton fry masala is ready. Transfer into the serving bowl. Garnish with coriander and green chilies
