Zeera Rice | Flavored Rice || How to make Zeera Rice with step-by-step photos 

Zeera Rice makes the perfect zeera rice and is the only one you’ll need want fluffy, perfectly cooked rice that is full of flavor, but super simple to make, you won’t believe it but this takes under 10 minutes to cook
I have loved this rice forever, even eat this with anda or a simple onion salad, this easy and tasty rice is prepared with just 2-3 ingredients

This zeera rice goes well with dal and veggies raita So let's the go-ahead to cook easy and simple rice 
Recipe tips:
  1. To prepare this recipe use long-grain basmati rice if possible
  2. Usually, rice tastes depends on rice quality
  3. Instead of hot water, you can use chicken stock or veggie stock to enhance the taste
  4. Always cook rice in the large capacity pot so your rice won’t break
  5. When rice water is getting to the boiling point then at this stage you add ½ tsp white vinegar so your rice won’t stick to each other...

Firstly rinse and soak rice at least for 2 hours, boil 2 cups of water in the saucepan, and take all ingredients to one place




Pour oil into the large pot and heat it then add soaked and drained rice along with salt and mixed garam masala to the rice


Stir to combine for 2-3 minutes on medium heat, keep on stirring until aroma arises then pour hot and boiled water stir to combine well, and cover the lid


Cook the jeera rice until the water has evaporated, then simmer it for 3 minutes  


Zeera rice is ready to serve with raitadalsalad

  1. 2 cups, rice ponia/basmati
  2. ½ tsp, caraway seeds Shahjeera
  3. ½ tsp, black peppercorn
  4. 1, bay leaf
  5. 2, cloves
  6. 1 pod, green cardamom
  7. ¼-inch, cinnamon stick
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 2 tbsp, oil/ghee
  10. 2 cups, water/stock
How to make Steamed Rice?
  1. In the large-capacity pot heat the oil and put soaked and drained rice along with salt
  2. Stir them well for a minute then add black peppercorn, caraway seeds, bay leaves, cloves, green cardamom, and cinnamon stick
  3. Stir well until aroma arose
  4. Add 2 cups of water to 2 cups of soaked rice
  5. Mix well and adjust salt at this stage
  6. Bring it to a boil and cover the lid
  7. Let them cook for 4-5 minutes over high heat
  8. When small pits have started to appear on top of the surface 
  9. Allow to simmer it for 3 minutes over very low heat
  10. Now Quick zeera rice is done to serve
  11. Noteyou can put ginger garlic paste as well
  12. Noteif you are using chicken stock or veggie stock instead of water then you have to take care of adding salt to the rice because the stock already has salty 
  13. Zeera rice can be served with raitadal, and salad as well as pepper and any type of curry and sabzi
