Chickpeas (chana) are considered healthy food due to their low glycemic index and high fiber content. they also reduce cardiovascular risk and keep the digestive tract healthy
This recipe I cooked. was taken by my elder sister. once I visited her house right there and tasted first time with a hot mug of tea. I have been amazed by eating this easy and superb taste of quick snacks.
Since then I started cooking at home for my weekend morning breakfast. and for a long time was planning to share this chana chole recipe on the blog but for lack of time, I couldn’t cook by taking the photos for the blog. so ultimately today I am sharing this tasty snack. This is best for those who love spicy food.
I am sure to try this once you forget to bring the chole from the market
For the best result follow my detailed step-by-step photos, instructions, and tips above the recipe card
Recipe Notes:
- Chickpeas must always be soaked well for at least 8 hours in a lot of water to prevent bloating and to enhance the absorption of the nutrients
- Both boiled chickpeas and soaked chickpeas also can be frozen and used up whenever needed
- They must be used up within a month else they lose the taste
- I kept the chana a little wet and slightly thin as I love to eat like this more than other dry chana. so you may keep dry or wet it ups to you
