Dal Tadka is full of protein, wholesome and delicious mixed dal, and is an extremely popular dal in Pakistani meal, in most household lunch and dinner is considered incomplete without dal, and although its not Dhaba style or roadside restaurant style dal but it is delicious its own place, I always love to have this dal with boiled rice and zeera rice alongside some chillies pickles
I used four types of lentils in it, you have your own choice to choose other lentils that you most like, this is prepared with a few ingredients It’s a mix of 3-4 or even more dal, that are cooked together, then prepared masala separately and tempered with choices of spices and ghee
For many vegetarians or vegans, dal is a great source of protein and fibre. Hence whenever it’s made, I try to incorporate different dal to increase the protein level. A simple and easy when you are sick of eating meat, then this dal would be a good choice to include in your diet
