Porridge Recipe  is a very healthy and delicious poridge_that made up of beef meat, bones, and wheat porridge_very few ingredients are used in this recipe
Wheat is one of the grains that is very widely used by Pakistanis. it is used to make roti, paratha,dalya, snacks, and many more_most Pakistanis consume wheat regularly

I always prepared wheat porridge with moong dal _but I this recipe got from my friend_when I tried to cook it at home then we like the taste of it I thought must share this will all of you_this is also the best for iftar a healthy version

Mainly this recipe is called Gundam ka soup_but I changed the name of it right now as the soup contains on runny consistency while this porridge has thickened consistency_here I didn’t grind the wheat porridge that normally people do but I don’t like paste_if you want to grind it like a haleem then can be done by choice

To make this recipe first thoroughly rinse dalya then soak it in warm water for 3-4 hours

Chop onion, ginger, and garlic

Wash the meat with bones under the running water
                        


Chop the coriander and green chilies

In the large-sized depth, the pot adds soaked dalya along with water

Bring it to boil first on a high flame. Once boiled then remove the scum from the top_Lower the flame to low

Take a separate pan/wok_Heat the oil then add chopped ginger-garlic. Sauté them for a minute on medium flame

Then put the meat and fry them on low-medium flame till changes its color

Then add bones along with black pepper_stir well

Then add salt

Add turmeric powder

Put chopped green chilies and lemon juice

Roast them together for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame

Then transfer all roasted meat and bones to the porridge pot

Stir to mix well and bring it to a boil further

Put whole tomatoes into the dalya

Further, stir to combine well_And let it cook for around 1-2 hours on low-medium flame until wheat and meat are tender

Once they cooked very well_Reduce the flame to low-medium

And add roasted zeera powder and garam masala_stir to combine very well

Now at this stage, you can blend the dalya with the help of a hand blender. Pour 1 cup of hot water into the dalya and mix them up very well

Allow cooking them further till they turn thick_discard the bones

Turn off the flame_Dalya is ready

Fry the onion slices in the frying-pan

And add to the cooked dalya_Stir to combine well_Healthy wheat porridge is ready to serve

Transfer to the serving bowl. And garnish with chopped coriander leaves and green chilies

  1. 300g, whole wheat soaked for 3-4 hours in the warm water
  2. 1 cup, onion slices
  3. 1 cup, of oil
  4. 1 tsp,garam masala powder
  5. 1 tsp, roasted cumin seeds crushed
  6. 2 large-sized, tomatoes
  7. 1 handful, of chopped coriander leaves
  8. 600 liter, water
For Meat:
  1. 250g, beef meat with bones
  2. 1 tbsp, ginger garlic finely chopped
  3. 4-5, green chilies chopped
  4. 1 tbsp, lemon juice
  5. 25ml, oil
  6. ½ tsp, turmeric powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tsp, black pepper
How to Make Porridge Recipe:
  1. In the large-sized depth, the pot adds soaked dalya along with water
  2. Bring it to boil first on a high flame
  3. Once boiled then remove the scum from the top
  4. Lower the flame to low
  5. Take a separate pan/wok
  6. Heat the oil then add chopped ginger-garlic
  7. Sauté them for a minute on medium flame
  8. Then put the meat and fry them on low-medium flame till changes its color
  9. Then add bones along with turmeric powder and stir well
  10.  Add black  pepper and salt
  11. Then add chopped green chilies and lemon juice  
  12. Roast them together for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame
  13. Then transfer all roasted meat to the porridge pot
  14. Stir to mix well and bring it to a boil further
  15. Put whole tomatoes into the dalya
  16. Further, stir to combine well
  17. And let it cook for around 1-2 hours on low-medium flame until the wheat and meat is tender
  18. Once they cooked very well
  19. Reduce the flame to low-medium
  20. And add roasted jeera powder and garam masala
  21. Stir to combine very well
  22. Now at this stage, you can blend the dalya with the help of a hand blender 
  23. Note: I didn’t blend Dalya as don’t like paste form but you can do it as required
  24. Pour 1 cup of hot water into the dalya and mix them up very well
  25. Allow cooking them further till they turn thick
  26. Discard the bones
  27. And turn off the flame
  28. Fry the onion slices in the frying-pan
  29. And add to the cooked dalya
  30. Stir to combine well
  31. Healthy wheat porridge is ready to serve
  32. Transfer to the serving bowl
  33. And garnish with chopped coriander leaves and green chilies
  34. Serve hot this delicious and wholesome meal
