notes:
- Milk: I used a milk pack in making drinks while you can use fresh milk or powdered milk full cream as well
- Dry fruits: almonds and pistachios are the main dry fruits used in Kasturi milk. whereas you can variation by adding crushed walnuts, coconut powder, and cashew nuts
- Saffron: use good quality and original saffron in making Kasturi milk. original saffron makes an aromatic and flavorful drink
- Dates: I used dates in this recipe to make it more healthy and tasteful is optional and skippable
- Rosewater: adding rose water to the drink is optional. I added it for flavor
- Cardamom and nutmeg powder: these powders are added to milk just to bring aroma. you can skip nutmeg powder if you don’t like nutmeg powder taste
- To enhance the taste of kastoori milk you can add khoya and fresh cream

Boil the
milk and add sugar.
Next, add
cardamom and nutmeg powder, chopped dates, and rose water
Keep mixing
by adding chopped almonds and pistachios
In the end, add saffron and mix
Let it cook for around 15-20 minutes on the medium-low flame

Ingredients:
- 500ml, milk pack/fresh milk full cream
- 1/6 tsp, green cardamom powder
- 2-3 pinches, nutmeg powder optional
- 25ml rosewater optional
- Sugar to taste
- 8-10 threads, saffron
- 100g, chopped almonds, and pistachio
- 3-4 pcs, dates chopped optional
- Boil the milk and add sugar
- Keep on stirring until dissolved the sugar
- Next, add cardamom and nutmeg powder, chopped dates, and rose water
- Keep mixing by adding chopped almonds and pistachios
- In the end, add saffron and mix
- Let it cook for around 15-20 minutes on medium-low flame till the mixture thickens
- Kastoori milk is done
- Pour into the serving glasses and garnish them with dry fruits
- Serve warm
