Beef Roast is the delicious thin dry slices of beef meat which is firstly marinated to the beef piece with ginger garlic paste, papaya paste, yogurt, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice _a very few spices are added commonly  but various cooking styles are applied in making beef roast as per their cultures and traditions_Here I also used my the family cooking style and spices too

Roast Beef basically is the traditional English meal of beef which is roasted in the oven or pot, After roasting the beef cut them into thin slices and at this point either can be eaten by frying or making the sandwich
This beef roast is a bit like a beefsteak which is cooked on the barbecue grill or charcoal by marinating

I remember my mother used to cook beef roast the way she used to make the roast was amazing- typically she used to prepare beef roast at the festival especially on Eid-ul-Adha
And past a week my mind recalled this recipe once again that might have been lost in my memories after went off my mother ☹
Now I am sharing this memorable recipe with all of you although I didn’t get the actual meat piece that I was looking at in the butcher’s shops a quiet square meat piece without fat
But I would like to prefer using a square meat piece without fat as this type of meat is so juicy and easily become tender
So let’s begin

Firstly rinse the beef piece under the running water and put it into the mixing bowl

Then squeeze fresh lemon over the beef piece_Rub it thoroughly with the help of fingers then start piercing with a fork or pointed knife all over the meat piece_Then add ginger and garlic paste

And then rub the same way as before Again start piercing for 2-3 minutes_Then add papaya paste

Repeat the same process as before

Constantly piercing in meat by adding spices will make it tasteful, And when meat will be marinated spices will absorb  in meat due to pierces

On the other hand mix black pepper, salt, and red chili flakes with yogurt, Stir to mix up well

Keep piercing by adding spiced yogurt to the meat around 5 minutes

Transfer the beef meat to the pot and then Keep in the refrigerator at least for 12 hours or overnight

Take the pot out of the refrigerator and place it on the stove_And then bring it to boil, Now add oil, stir to mix well
Cover the lid and let it cook on medium-low flame until water dries out_Keep flipping occasionally to prevent burn_Once the water dries out of the meat. Turn off the flame and let it cool down

Cut the thin slices of the meat

Beef roast slices can be preserved around for a month easily

As well as simply fry beef slices and eat with tea

To make a sandwich fry the small pieces of beef in little oil

Take 2 fresh sandwich slices, Put some fried beef pieces, cheese, drizzle some hot sauce along with placing cucumber slices_Cover them with another slice

Cut into half_The delicious easy sandwich is ready

  1. 1 kg, beef square beef piece
  2. 2 small-sized, lemon freshly squeezed
  3. 1 tsp, salt or to taste
  4. 1 tbsp, black pepper
  5. 100g, homemade yogurt
  6. 100ml,oil
  7. ½ tsp, chili flakes optional
  8. 3 tbsp, papaya paste
  9. 2 tbsp, ginger paste freshly ground
  10. 1 tsp, garlic paste freshly ground
For sandwich:
  1. 3-4, sandwich bread slices
  2. 2, cheese slices regular
  3. A few pieces of cucumber
  4. 1 tbsp, hot sauce/chili sauce
  5. Fried beef roast
How to make roast beef?
  1. Firstly rinse the beef piece under the running water

  3. Then squeeze fresh lemon over a beef piece
  4. Rub it thoroughly with the help of fingers then start piercing with a fork or pointed knife all over the meat piece
  5. This act will help to make succulent and tender meat  
  6. Then add ginger and garlic paste and then rub the same way as before
  7. Again start piercing for 2-3 minutes then add papaya paste
  8. Repeat the same process as before

  16. Marination depends on meat quality-unfortunately I got the meat in which need to more marination 
  17. Take the pot out of the refrigerator and place on the stove
  18. And then bring it to boil
  19. Now add oil, stir to mix well
  20. Cover the lid and let it cook on medium-low flame until water dries out
  21. Keep flipping occasionally to prevent burn  
  22. Don’t add water to the meat it will cook with yogurt and papaya water
  23. Note: if you want to roast the meat in the oven then simply apply oil all over the marinated piece and bake it at 250 C in the middle rack
  24. After 30 minutes flip the piece of meat
  25. And allow bake it until brownish on top
  26. Once the water dries out of the meat
  27. Turn off the flame and let it cool down
  28. Cut the thin slices of the meat
  29. Now these beef slices also can be eaten by making sandwich which I will show to you ahead
  30. Or simply fry beef slices and eat with tea

  33. Here I made a sandwich for my elder brother very simple to make, you can fill the sandwich with your desirable things alongside beef roast such as mayonnaise with cabbage, cheese slices. lettuce, cucumber or any other type of sauces
  34. This sandwich has quite superb taste this is my favorite too besides my brother  
  35. To make a sandwich Fry the beef in small pieces in little oil

  37. Put some fried beef pieces, cheese, drizzle some hot sauce along with placing cucumber slices
