Samosa Chaat | Samosa Cholay a kind of simple yet unique recipe to be tried during any time of the day as a snack to overcome your hunger cravings. Samosa chaat is served by adding a plate full of cooked chole masala, mashed samosa with freshly cut veggie topping it is very spicy and sweet and tangy snack it is even known as a popular street food required basic ingredients to make this mouthwatering and tasty dish as an instant snack or an appetizer for you that you can eat at any time of the day. This recipe is loved all across the world wherever we are living Pak/Indian people.

Samosa  chaat is one of my hot favorite snacks since ever whether be a Ramadan or normal days especially when is having rainy or cloudy weather usually people cook or have such a tasty snack in the rainy season like pakora, samosa, chaat or Dahi Bhalla and samosa chat other than even Ramadan usually in Pakistan people served samosa chat to put just boiled chickpeas but I prepared chole masala from my homemade spice trust me it is much tasty than putting only boiled chickpeas
Whatever things are being used in this recipe all those links will get in the ingredients list
so let's start with step by step photos....
Note:
  1. You can increase the quantity of samosas according to your requirement you can keep samosa chaat spicier or less it's up to you I am adding seasoning according to my taste
  2. You can repeat the same assembling with all samosa chaat plates the more you want to serve as needed

Cooking chana masala:
Firstly Wash chickpeas properly should not remain baking soda in it then add soaked chickpeas,2 cup water, and salt in the pressure cooker, let it cook till turns to soft

Take a separate saucepan pour oil to heat it then add channa masala sauté it slightly to add 2 tbsp water on low flame for a while

Then add boiled chana with its water_if needed you can add ½ cup water more_Bring it to boil then cover the lid_Let it cook another 10 minutes on medium flame or until water dries a bit

Then add coriander leaves and green chilies_Allow to cook it another 5 minutes more now_Towards the end add 2 pinch baking soda stir slightly, and mash it slightly with a wooden spoon then remove from the flame

Note: Baking soda will give it to the same market taste
If you like the chickpeas to be dry, and then wait for the water to dry up completely if you like it a bit watery then cook less and leave a bit of water

For Assemble:
For making samosa chat place 2 a bit mashed samosa along with all remaining ingredient, then add chopped veggies
right after sprinkle some spices like chaat masala etc

How to make a recipe?

Ingredients for chaat:
  1. 4, aloo samosas
  2. ½ cup, onion finely chopped
  3. ½ cup, tomato finely chopped
  4. 2 tbsp, coriander leaves finely chopped
  5. 1/3 cup, homemade yogurt beaten 
  6. 2 tbsp, green chilies finely chopped
  7. 1/2 cup, green sauce
  8. 1 tbsp, homemade chat masala 
  9. ¼ cup, sweet tamarind sauce
  10. 2 pinch, red chili flakes
  11. ¼ tsp, cumin powder
Ingredients for chana masala:
  1. 2oog, chickpeas soaked overnight with ½ tsp baking soda
  2. 2 tbsp, fresh coriander
  3. 2,green chili chopped
  4. 2 glass, water
  5. 2 tbsp, oil
  6. 2 tbsp, homemade chana masala
  7. 2 pinch, baking soda
  8. 1/6 tsp salt for adding in the boiling chane 
Instructions:
  1. Firstly Wash chickpeas properly should not remain baking soda in it then

  3. Let it cook till turns to soft

  7. Bring it to boil then cover the lid
  8. Let it cook another 10 minutes on medium flame or until water dries a bit

  11. Towards the end add 2 pinch baking soda stir slightly 
  12. And mash it slightly with a wooden spoon then remove from the flame 
  13. For making samosa chat place 2 a bit mashed samosa
  14. Then add 5 tbsp chana masala,mint sauce,yogurt,sweet sauce
  15. Then add chopped tomatoes, green chili onions, coriander leaves 
  16. Now sprinkle chat masala over samosa chat, cumin powder and 1 pinch crushed red chili
  17. Now samosa chaat is ready to serve
