Samosa Chaat is a kind of simple yet unique recipe to be tried at any time of the day as a snack to overcome your hunger cravings. Samosa chaat is served by adding a plate full of cooked chole masala, and mashed samosa with freshly cut veggie topping it is very spicy and sweet, and a tangy snack
It is even known as a popular street food that requires basic ingredients to make this mouthwatering and tasty dish as an instant snack or an appetizer for that you can eat at any time of the day. This recipe is loved all across the world wherever we are living Pak/Indian people.
Samosa chaat has been one of my hot favorite snacks since ever whether it is Ramadan or normal days especially when is rainy or cloudy Usually people cook or have a tasty snack in the rainy season like pakora
Samosa, chaat or Dahi Bhalla and samosa chat other than even Ramadan usually in Pakistan people served samosa chat to put just boiled chickpeas but I prepared chole masala from my homemade spice trust me it is much tasty than putting only boiled chickpeas, Whatever things are being used in this recipe all those links will get in the ingredients list
Note:
- You can increase the number of samosas according to your requirement you can keep the samosa chaat spicier or less it's up to you I am adding seasoning according to my taste
- You can repeat the same assembling with all samosa chaat plates the more you want to serve as needed

Firstly Wash chickpeas properly should not remain in baking soda Then add soaked chickpeas,2 cups of water, and salt to the pressure cooker, and let it cook till turns soft
Take a separate saucepan pour oil to heat it then add channa masala sauté it slightly to add 2 tbsp water on low flame for a while
Note: Baking soda will give it the same market taste
If you like the chickpeas to be dry, then wait for the water to dry up completely if you like it a bit watery then cook less and leave a bit of water

Then add boiled chana with the water needed You can add ½ cup water more_Bring it to a boil then cover the lid_Let it cook another 10 minutes on medium flame or until water dries a bit
Then add coriander leaves and green chilies_Allow to cook another 5 minutes more now_Towards the end add 2 pinches of baking soda stir slightly and mash it slightly with a wooden spoon then remove from the flame
Note: Baking soda will give it the same market taste
If you like the chickpeas to be dry, then wait for the water to dry up completely if you like it a bit watery then cook less and leave a bit of water
For making samosa chat place 2 a bit mashed samosa along with all remaining ingredients, then add chopped veggies

Ingredients for Chaat:
- 4, aloo samosas
- ½ cup, onion finely chopped
- ½ cup, tomato finely chopped
- 2 tbsp, coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1/3 cup, homemade yogurt beaten
- 2 tbsp, green chilies finely chopped
- 1/2 cup, green sauce
- 1 tbsp, homemade chat masala
- ¼ cup, sweet tamarind sauce
- 2 pinch, red chili flakes
- ¼ tsp, cumin powder
Ingredients for Chana Masala:
- 2oog, chickpeas soaked overnight with ½ tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp, fresh coriander
- 2, green chili chopped
- 2 glasses, of water
- 2 tbsp, oil
- 2 tbsp, homemade chana masala
- 2 pinch, baking soda
- 1/6 tsp salt for adding in the boiling chane
How to Make Samosa Chaat?
- Firstly Wash chickpeas properly should not keep baking soda in them then
- Add soaked chickpeas,2 cups of water, and salt to the pressure cooker
- Let it cook till turns soft
- Take a separate saucepan pour oil to heat it then add channa masala sauté it slightly to add 2 tbsp water on low flame for a while
- Then add boiled chana with its water
- If needed you can add ½ cup of water more
- Bring it to a boil then cover the lid
- Let it cook another 10 minutes on medium flame or until water dries a bit
- Then add coriander leaves and green chilies
- Allow to cook it another 5 minutes now
- Towards the end add 2 pinches of baking soda and stir slightly
- And mash it slightly with a wooden spoon then remove it from the flame
- For making samosa chat place 2 a bit mashed samosa
- Then add 5 tbsp chana masala, mint sauce, yogurt, sweet sauce
- Then add chopped tomatoes, green chili onions, coriander leaves
- Now sprinkle chat masala over samosa chat, cumin powder, and 1 pinch of crushed red chili
- Now samosa chaat is ready to serve
