Take all ingredients of curry and prepare all veggies along
with rinsing chicken pieces to keep aside until required
Whisk the yogurt in a plate/bowl then add garam masala and
red chili flakes and stir to combine well set aside
In a mixing large-sized bowl marinate the chicken pieces
with the ginger-garlic lemon juice and spices
Mix them for 10 minutes until chicken is well coated with
all spices, keep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
On the other hand heat, the oil in a large-sized pot on medium flame and put all whole spices
Allow to crackle them in the oil right after adding the onion
Put marinated chicken pieces into the pot, mix well on
high-medium flame till everything is incorporated then add grated ginger
Constantly keep stirring by adding spiced yogurt to the
chicken
Once the chicken is well roasted with the yogurt and spices pour 1 cup of hot and boiled water, and stir to mix well
Bring it to a boil, cover the lid, and allow to cook for 10 minutes further on medium flame, reduce the heat and simmer the chicken masala curry for 2-3 minutes

Ingredients:
- 500g, chicken with bones
- 1 cup, onion finely chopped
- ½ cup, of homemade
yogurt
- 1 tbsp, ginger garlic paste freshly ground
- 1 large-sized, lemon freshly squeezed
- 1 tbsp, green chilies coarsely chopped
- 1 tbsp, crushed coriander seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 ½, Kashmiri red chili powder
- ½ tsp, regular red chili powder
- ½ tsp, turmeric powder
- 1 tsp,basic
garam masala
- 1 tsp, red chili flakes
- 1 cup, canola oil/olive oil
- 1 tsp, grated ginger
Whole Spices:
- ¼ tsp, black peppercorn
- 1 tsp, cumin seeds
- 2 pcs, bay leaves
- 2-3, green cardamom
- 2-3, cloves
- 1 pod, of brown cardamom
- 1-inch, cinnamon stick
- 1-2 cups, of water hot and boiled
How to Make Chicken Curry?
- In a mixing large-sized bowl marinate the chicken pieces with the ginger garlic paste, lemon, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, crushed coriander, green chilies, and Kashmiri red chili powder
- Mix them for 10 minutes until the chicken is well coated with all spices
- Keep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
- On the other hand, heat the oil in a large-sized pot on a medium flame
- Put all whole spices brown cardamom, bay leaves, cumin, green cardamom, cloves,, cinnamon stick, and black peppercorn
- Allow to crackle them in oil right after adding chopped onion slices
- Sauté the onion with whole spices on medium flame till turns translucent
- Put marinated chicken pieces into the pot, mix well on high-medium flame till everything is incorporated then add grated ginger
- Constantly keep stirring by adding spiced yogurt to the chicken
- Once the chicken is well roasted with yogurt and spices pour 1 cup of hot and boiled water, and stir to mix well
- Bring it to a boil, cover the lid, and allow to cook for 10 minutes further on medium flame
- Reduce the heat and simmer the chicken masala curry for 2-3 minutes
- Transfer to the serving dish, tasty chicken masala curry is ready
- Serve hot with rice, naan, and chapatis
