chocolate syrup is prepared with a few ingredients to combine milk, cocoa powder,
and butter
In a saucepan add butter
Combine milk and butter in the saucepan
Now add cocoa powder
Add sugar
Put cornflour
Whisk them well with a whisker till everything is incorporated
You can see in the below picture that the chocolate syrup has started to thicken, remove from the heat and let it cool down completely in the pan
Now transfer to the bowl/jar

- 3 tbsp, cocoa powder
- 1 cup, of milk
- 1/3 cup, of sugar
- 1 tsp, cornflour
How to make Chocolate Syrup?
- Take a saucepan/pan
- Place on the stove
- Combine milk, butter, sugar, and cornflour
- Give a good stir with the whisk
- Then add cocoa powder and cornflour
- Now stir to combine
- And make sure all lumps are broken up
- Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes until the syrup starts to thicken
- Keep stirring occasionally
- Remove from the heat
- Let it cool down completely in the pan
- Then transfer to the jar for storage
- Keep it in the refrigerator
- Note: If you want thinner syrup, just microwave for about 30-45 seconds to make it pourable
