Take a large bowl put plain flour make 3 wells, and add sugar, salt, and instant dry yeast mix together. Add ½ cup warm water and mix it then adds beaten egg (keep 2 tbsp for later use)
Stir with a wooden spoon then add butter, stir until well-blended and look smooth and sticky dough. Put into the greased bowl
Cover with cling wrap then put in a warm place for 2 hours. Meanwhile, take a small bowl and put softened butter/margarine. Then add salt, garlic powder/crushed garlic, and parsley_Mix until well combined. Keep it in the fridge
Flatten the dough by hand, cut it into 16 pieces with a dough cutter/pizza cutter, and shape it into balls. Sprinkle with flour to prevent sticking on the surface_Flatter the dough with fingers, and spread ½ tsp garlic butter on the dough. Fold into a half-moon then gather both corners creating a flower petal, repeat the same practice with all dough pieces
Place and arrange a greased round baking pan. Now cover with loose cling wrap for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, turn on the oven and preheat at 250C for a half-hour
30 minutes succeeding the dough has risen_Brush with the remaining whisked egg. Bake at 200 c or gas mark 4 in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until golden brown

- 1 tsp, dry yeast instant
- ½ cup, of warm milk
- ½ tsp, salt
- 1 large, egg (beaten)
- 3 tbsp, soft butter at room temperature
- 1 cup, butter/margarine softened
- 1 tsp, fine salt
- 1 tsp, dried parsley
- 1 tsp, garlic powder/freshly ground

- Sprinkle extra flour over the dough
- Start folding using fingertips ( no kneading at all)
- Add a little more flour
- Fold again for a minute dust the work table with flour before putting the dough

- Shape into balls
