Transfer the ice cream to a large bowl, reserving the container. Place in the freezer for 2 hours, and preheat the oven to 180°C.
Brush a square 24 cm (base measurement) cake pan with melted butter to grease. Line the base and sides with non-stick baking paper.
Place the butter, chocolate, and sugar in a medium saucepan over low heat. and cook.
Stirring with a metal spoon, for 5 minutes or until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. Transfer to a bowl
Sift the combined flour and cocoa powder over the chocolate mixture. Add the egg, walnut extra chocolate, and vanilla essence and stir to combine
Cut into pieces and divide among serving plates
Drizzle some chocolate syrup on top with a scoop of ice cream to serve.

- 1*1L ctn Vanilla ice cream softened slightly
- Melted butter, to grease
- 200g unsalted butter, chopped
- 200g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 385g(1/3/4 cups) Brown sugar
- 75g(1/2 cup) plain flour
- 50g(1/3 cup) self-raising flour ( you can use flour and add 1/2 tsp baking powder mix them together)
- 4 eggs, lightly whisked
- 85g(3/4 cup)walnut halves, coarsely chopped
- 50g dark chocolate, extra, coarsely chopped
- 1 tsp, vanilla essence
- 3 tbsp, chocolate syrup
