won’t find a single “curry powder” in Pakistan. Rather, you’ll find many
varieties of curry powders depending on what dish you are looking to make.

Heat
the skillet/pan and dry roast whole spices one by one, first
dry roast chana dal and bay leaf together on low heat for 2-3 minutes
Dry roast red whole chilies, cinnamon stick, cloves, and green and black cardamoms on low flame for 2 minutes until aroma arises
Now dry roast coriander seeds and peppercorn and dry roast them on low flame
for 2 minutes
At
the end dry roast cumin and fennel seeds along with dry turmeric on low flame
for a minute
Place
all roasted and dried whole spices on the plate
Put
in the grinder jar the roasted whole spices
Grind
them together in the grinding jar till turn into a fine powder
Transfer to the bowl or plate and mix powdered spices with roasted
ground spices
Stir
to combine well until everything is incorporated
Transfer
to the jar/bottle
It
can be stored in an airtight jar or container at least for a month

- 10-12 pcs, dry red chili
- 2 pods, black cardamom
- 2 pods, green cardamom
- 1 tbsp, Bengal gram
- 1-2 pcs, bay leaves
- 10, cloves
- 2 inch, cinnamon stick
- 3 tbsp, cumin seeds
- 3 tbsp, coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp, fennel
- 1 tbsp, black peppercorn
- 1 tsp, dry turmeric
Powder Spices:
- 1 tbsp, Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 tsp, salt
- 1 tsp, ginger powder
- 2-3 pinches, citric acid optional
How to Make Curry Spices Recipe?
- Heat the skillet/pan and dry roast whole spices one by one
- First, dry roast chana dal and bay leaf together on low heat for 2-3 minutes
- Then dry roast red whole chilies, cinnamon sticks, cloves, green and black cardamoms
- on low flame for 2 minutes until aroma arises
- Now dry roast coriander seeds and peppercorn on the skillet and dry roast them on low flame for 2 minutes
- At the end dry roast cumin and fennel seeds along with dry turmeric on low flame for a minute
- Place all roasted and dried whole spices on the plate
- Put in the grinder jar the roasted whole spices
- Grind them together in the grinding jar till turn into a fine powder
