Try this homemade masala from scratch and enjoy the freshness of whole spices. Here I haven't used Kashmiri chili powder because not available at home, but you can use it because it gives a vibrant red color without adding the heat of the chili. You can also use whole-dried Kashmiri chilies.

Put all the whole spices into the pan.

Dry roast them together for 2-3 minutes

Transfer to the grinding jar.

Grind roasted whole spices till they turn to a fine powder.

Shift to the bowl/plate.

Mix all powdered spices with roasted ground spices.

Stir to combine well until everything is incorporated.

Ingredients:
  1. 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  2. 1 tbsp, cumin seeds
  3. 1 large, long pepper (pipli)
  4. 1 tsp, peppercorn tail (kabab chini)
  5. 1 ½ tbsp, roasted gram flour or roasted chickpea powder
  6. 1 tbsp,garam masala
  7. 3 pods, black cardamom
  8. I tsp black peppercorn
Powder Spices: 
  1. 1 tsp red chili flakes 
  2. 1 1/2 tsp, red chili powder
  3. 1 ½ tsp, salt
  4. 1 tsp, garlic powder
  5. 1 tsp, ginger powder
  6. ¼ tsp, citric acid
How to Make Seekh Kabab Masala Powder?
  1. In a hot medium, put all the whole spices: black pepper, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black cardamom, allspices, and long pepper
  2. Dry roast them together on low-medium flame for 2-3 minutes until the aroma has arisen
  3. Shift to the grinding jar, then grind it well until a fine powder
  4. Transfer to the plate or bowl
  5. Now mix all powdered spices, red chili powder, salt, ginger and garlic powder, citric acid, and red chili flakes into the roasted ground spices
  6. Stir to combine well
  7. Seekh kabab masala powder is ready to use in recipes
  8. Transfer to the airtight bottle or jar
  9. It can be stored for around 1 month or more if it is kept in a cool place....
