Nihari Masala Powder Recipe ( Homemade Spice )

Nihari Masala Powder is a collection of various spices, which are ground into powder to give you the perfect traditional nihari flavor. This spice has a combination of ground and whole spices, which together give a very delicious taste to the nihari. This much of nihari masala is enough for making 1 kg to 1.5 kg of beef/mutton nihari.

Dry roast all whole spices in a pan on medium-low flame for 2-3 minutes

Put all roasted whole spices in the grinding jar or mortar and grind them very well till they turn to a fine powder.

Transfer to another bowl, now mix all spice powders with roasted ground spices and mix them together till everything is incorporated.

Take it out of the jar and transfer it to the bottle, and paste the label with the spice name.e

Nihari masala powder is a collection of various spices, which are ground into powder to give you the perfect traditional nihari flavor.


Ingredients:
  1. 1 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  2. 1 tbsp, Kashmiri red chili powder
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. ½ tsp, itric acid
  5. 1 tsp, trmeric
  6. ½ tbsp, ginger powder / sonth 
Whole Spices:
  1. 1 tbsp, cuin seeds
  2. ½ tbsp, black peppercorn
  3. 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  4. 2 mediu, cinnamon sticks
  5. 3, green cardamom
  6. 1 big, bay laf
  7. ½ piece, nutmeg
  8. ½ tsp, mace
  9. 4 pieces, cloves
  10. 2 small, black cardamom
  11. 2 pieces, long pepper (pipli)
  12. ½ tbsp, fennel seeds
How to make a Nihari Masala?
  1. Dry roast all whole spices: black pepper, pepper corn, nutmeg, long pepper, black and green cardamom, fennel and cumin seeds, coriander seeds, bay leaf, cloves, and cinnamon sticks in a pan on medium-low flame for 2-3 minutes
  2. Put all roasted whole spices in the grinding jar, and grind them very well till they turn to a fine powder.r 
  3. Take it out of the jar and transfer it to another bowl, and mix all powders, red spices, red chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, salt, citric acid, ginger powder, and turmeric powder with the roasted ground spices.
  4. Stir to mix them well.l
  5.  Now transfer to the bottle and paste the label with the spice name. Whenever you want to make nihari, you can easily with homemade nihari masala 
  6. You can store it for up to a month by keeping it in a cool place
