Achar gosht masala is a dry powder mix of spices and herbs, formulated to enable even a novice to cook a delicious dish
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp, whole coriander seeds
- 2 tbsp, mustard seeds
- 15-20, whole red chilies
- 2 tbsp, cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp, fennel seeds
- 2 tbsp, nigella seeds
- 1 ½ tsp, fenugreek seeds
Powder Spices:
- 2 tsp, turmeric powder
- 1 tsp, citric acid
- 2 tsp,basic garam masala
- 1 tsp, black salt
- 1 tsp, salt
How to Make Achaar Masala Gosht?
- Heat the pan then add coriander seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and fennel seeds
- Dry roast whole spices on low-medium flame for 1-2 minutes, and let them cool for a while
- Separately dry roast fenugreek and nigella seeds for a minute on medium flame
- Add all roasted spices to the blender jar and blend them to make a coarse powder
- Note, that fenugreek and nigella seeds will not be blended
- Take them out into a bowl, now add turmeric powder, salt, citric acid, fenugreek seeds, nigella seeds,garam masala, and black salt
- Stir to mix well
- Now ready to use in recipes
- You can store it in the airtight bottle/jar for 2 months or even more than it
