Usually is very hard to find out this spices in the market,and if we get by luck then not necessary taste of spice be the same of authentic bihari masala powder,so i always prefer powder spices prepare at home than store-bought spices

You can use in many types of recipes such as Bihari Boti,Bihari Malai Boti,Chicken Boti,Dum Keema,Bihari kabab,handi kabab

We need:

Dry roast whole spices:
Firstly in the pan put all whole spices,dry roast them together for just a minutes over low-medium heat then add poppy seeds,allow to dry roast them another a minute,remove from the heat


Grind roasted spices:
Put all dry roasted whole spices in the grinder jar,grind them until you get fine powder


    Alternative you can use stone/marble mortar for grinding spices as well,transfer to the bowl/plate

      Mixing powder spices:
      Now add powder spices to the roasted ground spices
                                                      

      Stir to mix them very well,bihari masala powder is ready to use in recipes


      Now you can store it in the airtight jar for a month

      How to make recipe?

      Ingredients:
      1. 4 tbsp,dry roasted chickpeas 
      2. 3 pieces,long pepper (pipli)
      3. 1 tbsp,white cumin
      4. 20 pcs,black pepper tail (kabab chini)
      5. 2 tbsp,poppy seeds
      6. 2 pods,black cardamom
      7. 1/2 pcs,nutmeg
      8. 1/2 tsp,mace
      9. 2 tbsp,coriander seeds
      10. 1 tbsp,cumin seeds
      11. 2 inch,cinnamon stick
      12. 3 pods,green cardamom
      13. 1 tsp,black peppercorn
      14. 3 pcs,bay leaves
      Powder spices:
      1. 3 tbsp,kashmiri/degi red chilli powder
      2. 1 tsp,citric acid
      3. 4 tbsp,red chilli powder
      4. 1 tbsp,salt
      5. 1/2 tsp,turmeric powder
      6. 1 tbsp,kachri powder
      7. 1 tsp,garlic powder
      8. 1 tsp,ginger powder
      Instruction:
      1. Dry roast all whole spices coriander seeds,black   peppercorn,cumin,nutmeg,mace,long pepper,cinnamon stick,black cardamom,green cardamom,black pepper tail and bay leaves in the pan on low-medium heat for a minute
      2. Keep roasting by putting poppy seeds to the pan for another a minutes
      3. Remove from the heat and grind them together
      4. Till turns to fine powder
      5. Now add all powder spices salt,citric acid,kashmiri red chilli,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,ginger,garlic powder and kachri powder to the roasted ground spices
      6. Stir to m ix them well
      7. Bihari Masala powder is ready to use in recipes
      8. You can store it in the airtight jar for up to 4-6 weeks
