Crispy Fried Onion is a simple recipe on how to deep fry onions which is an essential ingredient that can be used in many dishes like biryani or curries or korma recipes.

I would like to show my readers how easy it is to deep fry them and an important ingredient to make rich dishes like korma recipes or biryani recipes such as Sindhi Biryani, mutton yakhni biryani, Beef yakhni pulao where the dish is incomplete without adding the fried onions.
Note:
- Do not fry the onions on high flame
- If done so the onions may turn darker and lose the flavor which is actually required in the recipe
- The time mentioned below is based on 2 kgs of onions and will vary depending on the quantity.
If the onions are fried and kept in an airtight container then, they can be stored for a few days and the deep-fried onions can be used in any recipe without wasting much time. As they take a lot of time to be deep-fried especially if they are fried in large quantities,
It is better to make them in advance and store them for later use for many other recipes that require this ingredient. Firstly, Peel and wash the onions well Now, pat dry or wipe them and slice them thinly. Be sure to slice all the onions of the same thickness. this will ensure uniform fried onion strings. add oil to the wok and heat it, When the oil is heated up,
Add the sliced onions, and stir for a while, Fry the onion on medium to high flame for the first 5 minutes, fry them until the pinkish color is observed then turn the flame on low to medium.
Keep stirring in between so that all the onions are fried well and attain the golden brown color strain them out
Place them on a kitchen paper towel and spread them loosely, let the oil be absorbed by the kitchen towel. Place them uncovered for 5-10 minutes so that become dry and get the crispy texture to the onions. Once the onions are crispy and crunchy, they are ready to be used
Store them in an airtight container or bottle, they can be used for about 1 month

How to make the Fried Onion?
