Gobi Gosht Recipe


Gobi Gosht | Gobi Aloo | How to Make Gobi Gosht Recipe with step by step photos

Gobi Gosht is made with an easy method. Gosht is an Urdu word for 'meat' or 'flesh' and in Pakistan, this would quite likely be made with Mutton or Beef, this curry is a tasty side dish prepared with cauliflower, potato chicken, and some essential spices which give it to a delicious and aromatic taste to serve as a side dish for roti or rice

I never used as a side dish to this recipe this is always been the main course of my table, but the mostly Pakistani kitchens people love to serve or have more than 2-3 dishes on their tables in which this dish is called as a side dish

Mainly I am a simple and a bit lazy person by nature, so usually, I cook only one dish for lunch or dinner along with some starters such as soup, salad, etc, This is actually depending on my mood and time, sometimes I have to drop the starter just make simple one dish with Rotis or rice :) is enough for our dinner or lunch I prepared with chicken you can use any type of meat

An easy to make this wholesome recipe with simple ingredients, adding cauliflower potato and chicken combination make a unique taste and flavor to the dish, good combination with chicken just try and enjoy as a side dish for rice and rotis, So lets the go-ahead to know how to make gobi aloo gosht

    Firstly properly rinse and clean the chicken under the running water, Rinse and cut the cauliflower into medium  florets, immerse in little salty water for 15 minutes 


    Prepare all rest of the veggies

    Lightly dry roast cumin seeds and crush them 

    Boil the water in the saucepan


      Take a pan and heat the oil then put all vegetables to the pan and lightly fry over low-medium heat for 5 minutes, set aside until required


      Pour oil in the pot then heat it and put onion slices, saute onion for 5 minutes over medium-high heat then put chicken pieces and fry well


      Add ginger-garlic paste, keep stirring until fresh aroma arose, add tomatoes and all dried spices powder to the chicken 


      Keep stirring by adding remaining spices and yogurt, stir well and cover the lid for 10 minutes over medium-low heat


      After 10 minutes remove the lid and stir again, now put fried vegetables, basic garam masala, and chopped ginger


      Stir to combine well with curry and then add 1/2 cup boiled and hot water, let them cook another for 10 minutes on medium-low heat, sprinkle coriander leaves, and simmer it about 10 minutes further over very low heat


      Transfer to the serving dish gobi aloo chicken is ready to serve


      This can be hot served with rotis,rice, and naan along with salad and raita

      Chicken Wings are simple, spiced delicious, and flavored chicken wings recipe_marinate chicken wings ahead of time in a simple homemade masala for an explosion of spicy Pakistani flavors_Wings are the most favorite foods is considered in all age groups people_this wings masala is made with chicken wings, yogurt, and some basic spices

      However, there are a lot of cooking styles applied to make these wings_some of people love to have them as fried wings and some of them with masala but different spices and styles are used as per their tradition and method
      I love both cooking styles wings-here this flavor-packed masala chicken is my own version that can be served with Rotis or chaptis,Try out must I make sure you will love to make them again

      Prepare this recipe firstly soak the chicken wings in vinegar and salty water to remove the unpleasant odor from the wings_Which are usually people dislike at all

      To it take a bowl pour water along with vinegar and salt_put the wings in the water and stir to mix well with the help of hands_Leave the wings to soak around 15 minutes right after taking them out from the water and transfer the wings to another mixing bowl                      


      Chop the green chilies and ginger

      To make black ground pepper take 2 pods of black cardamoms and 1 tsp black peppercorn then ground them together


      Combine ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the wings

      Coat each wing with spices 

      And keep in the refrigerator for an hour


      Whisk the yogurt and add all powder spices

      Stir to combine very well until everything is incorporated, Set aside 

      Heat the oil on the medium heat and put chopped ginger and green chilies Sauté them for a minute_Now add marinated wings to the oil

      Fry them on medium flame until changes it's color_Right after adding spiced yogurt to the wings and stir to mix well on medium-high heat

      Reduce the heat to medium and let them cook meantime squeeze the lemon juice into the wings

      Further, stir to combine and let them cook until water is reduced

      Once water is reduced and wings are cooked well

      Lower the flame and sprinkle some crushed black peppercorn over the wings_Simmer them over very low heat by covering the lid

      Now tasty and spicy chicken wings masala is ready to serve
      Garnish with coriander leaves and transfer to the serving plate/dish

      Serve them with Rotis and chapattis 

      Roast Chicken Recipe

      Chicken Roast is a tender, juicy, flavored spiced whole chicken meat is baked in the oven or charcoal grill by applying lime juice with spiced yogurt to the whole chicken
      Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside with golden skin that’s spicy with just a subtle perfume of lemon to remind you it’s there without overwhelming.

      It creates its own pan juices that are used as the sauce for the chicken. This stuff is liquid gold. Chicken Roast is prepared as food by roasting whether in a home kitchen, over a fire, or with a rotisserie (rotary spit). Generally, the chicken is roasted with its own fat and juices by circulating the meat during roasting, 

      And therefore, are usually cooked exposed to fire or heat with some type of rotary grill so that the circulation of these fats and juices is as efficient as possible. Roast chicken is a dish that appears in a wide variety of cuisines worldwide.
      However, I made this roasted chicken with a just few basic ingredients, no butter no ghee no herbs no additional ingredients are added

      First I prepared spiced yogurt by adding some basic and regular using powder spices, and marinated the whole chicken with ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, oil, and prepared spiced yogurt and then leave the chicken in the fridge for overnight and then the next day I baked in the oven 
      This delicious and mouthwatering chicken roasted goes well with boiled eggs, puri paratha alongside green raita chutney, onion slices with lemon wedges
      Certainly, Mouthwatering and delicious chicken roast you had ever! Super easy and simple to it you’ll have to try once at home by following my recipe


      How to roast a whole chicken:
      1. Oven-Baked Chicken breast is great for an everyday meal, but a whole baked chicken is a nourishing and comfort-food classic that you just can’t ignore.
      2. Before putting the chicken in the oven  
      3. Mix oil with the remaining masala, apply all over the chicken
      4. This act will keep the chicken moist and juicy and prevent to be dried the chicken
      5. Place chicken on a middle rack
      6. Set over a shallow roasting pan
      7. First, bake it on one side for around 25-30 minutes
      8. Then flip the chicken and cook the other side as before
      9. Roast the chicken until you get the nice golden brown color on the chicken

      To make this recipe firstly make deep slits on both sides of the chicken to absorb spices till the bottom

      Fill the deep large-sized bowl with water along with additional 1 tbsp salt with 2 tbsp white vinegar, Stir the water very well with the fingers

      And put the whole chicken into the water_Leave it around 30 minutes in the water

      In the meantime prepare the spiced  yogurt, First, squeeze the yogurt by keeping in the muslin cloth

      Take another mixing bowl 

      Combine all ingredients yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, crushed red chili flakes, turmeric powder, crushed coriander powder,garam masala, chaat masala, salt, and cumin powder

      Stir to mix well with the help of a spoon-Now spiced yogurt  is ready

      Thoroughly dry the chicken with paper towels_Squeeze the fresh lemon juice all over the chicken

      And rub inside and outside the chicken besides slits with the help of fingers

      Then place the whole chicken over masala_And start rubbing masala thoroughly both on the chicken sides

      Then add oil and continuously keep rubbing masala over the chicken. Keep in the fridge for at least 6-8 hours or maximum marination for overnight

      Take out the chicken from the fridge, Rub the chicken again with the masala for a minute

      Prepare the oven grill and turn on the oven at 450 F

      At this stage, you can give smoke of charcoal on chicken before putting the chicken on the oven grill

      Mix oil with the remaining masala

      And brush the chicken with masala,No required tie the legs of the chicken

      Put the chicken in the middle rack of the oven_And bake uncovered each side of chicken for 30 minutes at 450 F 250 C_Continue to cook chicken until nicely golden brown color appear on top


      Remove from the oven and apply some butter on top it's optional

      Transfer to the serving dish_And garnish the chicken with lemon wedges, mint, onion rings, and boiled egg slices


      Serve hot with puri paratha and raita chutney
