Recipe tips:
- To prepare this recipe, use long-grain basmati rice if possible
 - Usually, rice taste depends on rice quality
 - Instead of hot water, you can use chicken stock or veggie stock to enhance the taste
 - Always cook rice in a large capacity pot so your rice won’t break
 - When the rice water reaches the boiling point, add ½ tsp of white vinegar at this stage to prevent your rice from sticking to each other.

Firstly, rinse and soak rice for at least 2 hours, boil 2 cups of water in the saucepan, and take all ingredients to one place.e

Pour oil into the large pot and heat it. Then, add the soaked and drained rice along with salt and mixed garam masala to the rice.
Stir to combine for 2-3 minutes on medium heat, keep on stirring until the aroma arises, then pour hot and boiled water, stir to combine well, and cover the lid.d
Cook the jeera rice until the water has evaporated, then simmer it for 3 minut.es

Ingredients:
- 2 cups, rice ponia/basmati
 - ½ tsp, caraway seeds Shahjeera
 - ½ tsp, black peppercorn
 - , bay leaf
 - 2, cloves
 - 1 pod, green cardamom
 - ¼-inch, cinnamon stick
 - Salt to taste
 - 2 tbsp oil/ghee
 - 2 cups water/stock
 
How to make Steamed Rice?
- In the large-capacity pot, heat the oil and put the oaked and drained rice along with salt.
 - Stir them well for a minute,e then add black peppercorn, caraway seeds, bay leaves, cloves, green cardamom, and cinnamon stick.
 - Stir well until the aroma arises
 - Add 2 cups of water to 2 cups of soaked rice
 - Mix well and adjust the salt at this stage
 - Bring it to a boil and cover the lid
 - Let them cook for 4-5 minutes over high heat
 - When small pits have started to appear on top of the surface
 - Allow it to simmer for 3 minutes over very low heat
 - Now, Quick zeera rice is done to serve
 - Note: You can put ginger garlic paste as well
 - Note: if you are using chicken stock or veggie stock instead of water, then you have to take care of adding salt to the rice because the stock already has salt.
 - Zeera rice can be served with raita, dal, and salad, as well as pepper and any type of curry and sabzi
