Sheer Khurma || Khurma Recipe || How to make Sheer Khurma With step-by-step photos and video with English subtitles. this is my repost on sheer khurma but this time I edited my post and include my sheer khurma video recipe so that you can easily understand the recipe  


Sheer Khurma is an authentic version of vermicelli pudding specially prepared for Eid festivities. 'Sheer' is Persian for milk and 'khurma' is another word for dates. This Eid recipe is a traditional delicacy that is made differently in different households. this recipe is loaded with Vermicelli or Sawai milk, and loads of nuts make for this tasty Indian/Pakistani dessert.

Eid is the festival of love, joy, and happiness, and last but not least our favorite food. Sheer Khurma is not just a dessert, but an exceedingly phenomenal emotion. As another eid of the year is around the corners, we all are deliberately waiting for this most sumptuous traditional dessert, a perfectly cooked milk delicacy, seasoned with tons of dry fruits is what we wait for the whole year. I literally get many calls and messages regarding this simmering hot and sweet festive delicacy

In sheer khurma also is added dates (chuhare) but I don’t like its taste so I haven’t added I just add 2 dry fruits that were available at home.so I couldn’t take out the time from my busy schedule to buy dry fruits so you can add any dry fruits which you want as well as dates if you like its taste. the very easy and quick dessert that can be made within half-hour easily

Step 1:
Place a frying pan on the stove add ghee and heat it
Put cardamom and clove in the ghee let them crackle for a second

Then ad vermicelli and roast it with ghee on medium-low heat till turns to golden brown next pour the milk

Step 2:

Pour 1/2 cup water into the roasted vermicelli as required stir to combine well on low-medium flame. bring it to boil first on medium-high flame.

Once the milk sawai gets boiled

Then add chopped coconut sliced, chopped almonds, chopped pistachio along with sugar to taste. stir to mix well and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes on low flame

Give it for another 2 minutes over a low flame until it gets thicken.

Towards the end add kewra water, remove from the flame

Step 3:
Transfer to the serving bowl, garnish with dry fruits

Keep in the fridge about 2 hours before serving, now ready to serve and eat.

Ingredients:
  1. 1 liter, fresh milk/milk pack 
  2. 75g, vermicelli 
  3. 50 ml, water if required 
  4. 125g, sugar
  5. 2 pods, green cardamom
  6. 2 pcs, cloves
  7. 1/2 tsp, rose water/kewra
  8. 15g, coconut sliced
  9. 15g, chopped almonds
  10. 15g, chopped pistachio

How to make sheer khurma?
