Lauki Aloo Gosht Recipe



Aloo Lauki Gosht | Lauki Gosht is absolutely tasty, aromatic and healthy dish besides aromatic flavored easy to make, Can be kept thick or thin gravy of this curry its depend on your choice, you always heard about aloo gosht,lauki gosht but rarely would have listened about this, so here I put both veggies to the meat with our specific traditional seasoning that usually is used in curries in my family

I prepared beef with simple ingredients that already have shared in my previous post by the name of basic meat curry it is base of every type of meat curry in which you can add any type of veggies or lentils  as well you can freeze by making a separate packet, main ingredients are meat,lauki, and aloo with seasoning and spices 
so let's begin with step by step photos
Tips:
  1. To enhance the more taste of this recipe blend black cardamom and black peppercorn with 1/3 cup fried onions and make a smooth paste
  2. Put onion paste at the time of adding fried veggies to the roasted meat
  3. Garnish aloo lauki gosht curry with fresh coriander leaves and green chili
  4. For bringing red color in gravy always use Kashmiri/degi red chili powder 


We need:

    Preparation of aloo lauki gosht:         
    To prepare aloo lauki gosht first cook the simple meat curry according to your style or from my recipe that has been given in my previous post,take all ingredients and prepare all ingredients

      Cooking aloo lauki gosht:
      Firstly fry the lauki with little oil on medium flame around 5 minutes take them out and keep aside

      Roast the meat well until oil comes on top of it, put potatoes along with ground black spices powder stir to mix well

      Then put Lauki and further stir to combine and at this stage adjust salt and black spices powder, now pour hot and boiled water to the curry

      Bring it to boil and cover the lid and allow to cook it until vegetables are cooked

      Remove the lid then reduce the heat to low and simmer lauki aloo gosht around 10 minutes

      Transfer to the serving dish and now aloo lauki gosht is ready to serve

      Aloo lauki gosht is normally served with bagara rice and raita

      How to make a recipe?




      Aloo Lauki Gosht | Lauki Gosht is an absolutely tasty, aromatic, and healthy dish besides aromatic flavored easy to make.
      Ingredients:
      1. 200g, bottle gourd (lauki)
      2. 150g, potatoes
      3. 300g,beef/mutton/chicken/lamb prepared curry
      4. 3 pods, black cardamom
      5. 1 tsp, black peppercorn
      6. 50ml, oil
      7. 100ml, water 
      For garnishing:
      1. Coriander leaves
      2. Green chilies
      3. Grated ginger 
      Instructions:
      1. In a pot heat the oil and fry lauki and aloo for 2-3 minutes on medium-low flame
      2. The other hand roast the meat well until oil is separated  But If you are using frozen meat curry you just boil by adding little water to the pot then put meat curry 
      3. Heat them well until well boiling
      4. Now put fried potatoes along with ground black spices
      5. Stir to mix well then add fried lauki and 
      6. Stir to mix well
      7. At this stage adjust salt and ground spices
      8. Pour water and bring it to boil then cover the lid
      9. Let it cook around 20 minutes on medium heat
      10. Reduce the heat to low and simmer it further for 10 minutes
      11. Here you can garnish the meat curry with coriander leaves and green chilies
      12. Now also lauki gosht is ready
      13. Transfer to the serving dish and now aloo lauki gosht is ready to serve
      14. Aloo lauki gosht is normally served with bagara rice and raita
