- 2 tbsp, coriander seeds roasted
- 1 tbsp, cumin seeds roasted
- 1 piece, bay leaf roasted
- 6-7 pieces, cloves
- 1 pod, black cardamom roasted
- 1 tsp, fennel seeds roasted
- 1-inch, cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp, black peppercorn
Powder Spices:
- 1 ½ tbsp, Kashmiri red chili
- 1 tsp, turmeric
- 1 tsp, salt
- 1 ½ tsp, mango powder
How to make Pav Bhaji Masala Powder?
- Heat the pan for 1 minute then put black cardamom, coriander and cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, fennel seeds, and black pepper
- Dry roast them together over low-medium heat for 2 minutes
- Slightly dry roasting gives it to crunchy and aromatic flavor to enhance the taste of pav bhaji
- Transfer to the grinding jar and grind them for a few minutes then put powder spice it Kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, mango powder, and salt
- Grind them again until well combined with all spices
- Transfer to the jar/bottle and keep it in any cold dry place
- Can be stored for up to 1-2 weeks
